Which style clip is used?

All Ella Bella Hairbows are made on a partially-lined alligator clip. Some of the hairclips are made on a snap clip - please read description carefully to know which one you are ordering. Also to note - all clips used are nickel-plated and have been tested to be lead-free.

What is the difference between a small hairbow and a large hairbow?

Small hairbows are made from 7/8 inch grosgrain ribbon and measure about 3 inches across. Large hairbows are made from 1 and 1/2 inch grosgrain ribbon and measure about 4 inches across.

Will these clips stay in fine hair?

Yes! Snap clips are particularly good for holding back those stubborn bangs or wisps during the day (we love ours during ballet class!). Any alligator clip can be lined with a latex-free grip which is designed specifically for hairclips...just request when you order! I never use shelf liner or velcro as these are not kid-friendly or approved.

Why are there so few offered in each design?

Each hairbow and clip is made by me and I take a lot of pride in making each one unique. I do not "mass produce" my hair accessories so that I can offer you a quality product that sets your girl apart from everyone else. Because, let's face it, there are a million to choose from out there - why not be a little different?

Shipping is a flat rate of $2.00 per order. All orders over $30 are free shipping.
